Greetings and Salutations upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam). Maulana Ahmed Suleman Khatani was born in Durban, South Africa. He completed his Hifz ul Quraan at an early age. He then enrolled into Madrasah Arabia Islamia, Azaadville, South Africa where he completed his Aalim Faadhil course in 1993. Maulana studied under many great scholars like Sheikhul Hadith Hadhrat Maulana Fazlur Rahman Azmi Saheb (DB) and Hadhrat Maulana Abdul Hamid Ishaq Saheb (DB). Since graduating Maulana has dedicated his life to the service of deen. He has traveled through many countries in the world spreading the deen of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’aalaa) and Our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), delivering lectures and sermons at various Masaajids, Ijtimaas and gatherings across the globe. Maulana Khatani uses a simplistic, eloquent and distinctive style of explaining the purpose of human life and its creation and often uses scientific examples to support his argument. Maulana Khatani’s style is such that it rekindles the spark of Imaan in people bringing them back to the Sunnah and the Islamic way of life. Maulana emphasizes that one should bring back Salaah into ones lives, forgoing of ones sins and spending some time in the path of Allah. Maulana Khatani’s vast experience and in-depth knowledge
of Quraan and Ahaadeeth as well as keeping all the Islamic perspectives
in mind has made him amongst one of the most respected scholars
in the country. May Allah continue to take the effort of deen
from Maulana Khatani, grant him long life and accept all the work
that he has done. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'aalaa) help us understand the value
